The Yamaha Recording Custom Aluminium snare drums are available in 14 x 5.5 and 14 x 6.5 .

These Yamaha snare drums are a new addition to the popular Metal Series and are packed with top-end features resulting in some of the finest metal drums around! This Recording Custom snare drum features a 1.2mm Aluminium shell with an outward centre bead which provides you with a more open and crisp sound than previous models. This feature came about after many evaluations from Steve Gadd, as traditionally, the metal centre bead was on the interior of the drum.
